Hammersmith Hospital
Theatres 1-8, sluice rooms, scrub rooms and theatre recovery
We are pleased to announce that we have successfully completed the refurbishment of the main theatres at Hammersmith Hospital. This was a challenging project due to patient demand and the need for theatres to remain open during the transformation. We worked quietly and carefully to ensure that the patients journey did not suffer. We were welcomed by the dedicated team for the 3 months that we worked during the night and were pleased to have been able to convert their tired staff rest areas into a modern and welcoming environment.
The feedback from the team has been fantastic with Shane King, Head of Estates, commending our work.
Hammersmith Hospital
Linac Radiotherapy Refurbishment
When seriously ill patients require radiotherapy, they require a clean and welcoming environment to make their journey more comfortable. Deanway created this and enabled new, high tech radiotherapy machines to take centre stage!
To facilitate this, we upgraded all clinical areas, including fitting compliant, bespoke IPS units. These units meet all infection control standards and are very well received across a range of organisations.
The refurbishment of the assisted, female and male bathrooms ensures a single sex compliant facility.
Deanway replaced all vinyl flooring, fitted white rock to create a high quality finish and replaced all ceilings and LED lights.
Supplying and fitting Gradus bumper rails and corner protections also ensures that the facility will stay looking pristine.

Birthing Suites
Creating state of the art birthing units , fully equipped with birthing pools to provide a modern environment for expecting parents.
Here, we fitted state of the art birthing pools. To ensure the area looked clean and modern, we supplied and fitted new vinyl flooring throughout. Hygienic cladding was fitted and a full redecoration took place to create this fabulous space.
Queen Charlottes Hospital
4th Floor Neonatal Unit
A full refurbishment of the Neonatal unit, using high quality and skilled worker to make a homely and modern environment for new parents and their babies.
This challenging project saw the refurbishment of all the neonatal areas. This was done, whilst the area was live and accommodating patients. We took our time to ensure that services were not compromised whilst ensuring that all deadlines were met. The area underwent a full refurbishments, replacing ceilings, lighting. Flooring and all wash handbasins. The refurbishment was concluded with a full redecoration.

Emergency Department
Refurbishment of the ED in a timely way, to ensure that patients were still able to receive the vital care that they needed. Often working in very challenging conditions, we completed the job to a high specification, supporting all the clinical teams in making sure patient flow could remain a high priority.
This job saw us create larger treatment facilities to support the ED with their demand. We transformed clinical areas as well as patient waiting areas. The treatment rooms were upgraded and the assisted bathroom fully refurbished.
All work was anti ligature and infection control compliant.
